About LeanGLP

LeanGLP exists because the nutrition side of GLP-1 treatment is underserved: the medication suppresses appetite, protein intake collapses, lean mass goes with it — and most of the advice online is either vague or selling something. This site does the math instead: published dietetics standards, applied to your numbers, sources shown.

It is built and maintained by The LeanGLP Team. LeanGLP is built and maintained by a software engineer who turned published dietetics standards into calculators, because hitting protein targets on a suppressed appetite is a math problem worth solving well. Every formula and constant is documented with its source on the methodology page.

I'm an engineer, not a clinician, and the site is built around that honesty. What I do: read position stands, trial substudies, and FDA labels; implement the published formulas exactly; and put every source and every formula in public on the methodology page where you can check them. What I don't do: diagnose, treat, or touch medication dosing — the label reference pages reproduce official FDA documents and stop there.

How the site makes money

Some product links are affiliate links: if you buy through them, the vendor pays a commission at no cost to you. The calculators' outputs never depend on any commercial relationship — the math comes from the published literature, and the site recommends plenty of things nobody pays us for (cottage cheese has no affiliate program).
